Job description

  • Oversee and manage Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and sorting center operations to ensure compliance with company standards and performance metrics.
  • Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards, including regular safety drills and compliance audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse operations and generate periodic reports on operational performance and compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor quality control and quality assurance processes.
  • Analyze operational performance data to drive continuous improvement and optimization across all processes.
  • Coordinate cross-border logistics between China and international markets to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Lead daily operational meetings and conduct team performance evaluations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with DSP partners.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee regional fleet operations, including task allocation, cost efficiency, and vehicle utilization optimization.
  • Manage both in-house and outsourced fleet resources to maximize capacity and efficiency.
  • Continuously optimize pickup models, logistics processes, and resource planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and aligned operations.
  • Handle daily operational issues and respond quickly to emergencies or unexpected situations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics (e.g., parcel, fulfillment, or last-mile delivery), with hands-on team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, including sorting, linehaul, and last-mile operations.
  • Experience in cross-border logistics, parcel networks, third-party logistics (3PL), or e-commerce fulfillment is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment and willing to be hands-on in operations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive decision-making.
  • Highly responsive, with strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in English; ability to work in a cross-border (U.S.-China) environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate within the United States as required
