Job description

SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is seeking a U.S. National Capitol Region-based Project Manager to support U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS) offices This position is intended for local hires residing in the National Capitol Region as working on-site is required. This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Business Case Analysis, Reporting, and Executive Briefing
  • Creates and presents high-quality briefings to FPS leadership and stakeholders to communicate space planning findings, relocation scenarios, Program of Requirements (PORs), SF-81s (Request for Space forms), and analytical insights.
  • Researches and prepares business case analyses to evaluate project feasibility, quantify benefits and costs, to support governmental decision-making.
  • Provides comprehensive weekly status reports and final summary reports on project activities, findings, and recommendations.
  • Prepares standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document repeatable activities within the scope of work.
  • Delivers monthly and quarterly summary reports on occupancy agreements, space utilization, and leasehold improvements.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities required.
  • Working knowledge of Tririga and ServiceNow is highly desirable.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience and active PMP required.
  • Active FAC-P/PM Level II certification within the last 5 years, or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant degree program is highly desirable.

Work Location:
  • On-site presence in either the Alexandria, VA or Springfield, VA location required five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday
  • Position is intended to be performed within the National Capitol Region with periodic site visits to Federal Protective Services offices, warehouses, or other locations

  • Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.

  • Requires sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform related tasks.

Work Environment:
  • Primarily operates in a temperature-controlled office setting with frequent use of electronic office equipment.
  • May occasionally visit operational sites, potentially encountering extreme temperatures, airborne particles, fumes, chemicals, or loud noise.
