Job description

We are looking for a Manager to join our Operations team on our project in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site execution of construction projects in accordance with contract requirements, schedule, safety, quality, and budget expectations.
  • Assign, coordinate, and oversee responsibilities of the project team, including trade-responsible engineers.
  • Manage project financials, including monthly cost forecasting, owner billings, invoice review and approval, and subcontractor management.
  • Collaborate closely with the field team to plan and execute project schedule, safety initiatives, and quality standards.
  • Oversee project and project office setup to support efficient daily operations.
  • Review, interpret, and apply construction design documents and specifications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues to support successful project outcomes.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating integrity and mentoring junior team members in alignment with company culture.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field OR 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
  • Experience and competency using construction management software for project collaboration, document control, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, financials, and field communication.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

  • Ability to relocate to projects as needed.
  • Experience in on-site operations management for a general contractor
