Job description

A very busy private practice is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Total Joints Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team in the Edinburg, Texas area. This exceptional opportunity offers competitive compensation and the chance to hit the ground running with immediate patient volume in the rapidly growing Rio Grande Valley.

  • Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical and surgical hours with shared call coverage
  • Call: Shared call with existing orthopedic surgery team
  • Patient Volume: Immediate volume in a high-demand total joints practice
  • Location: Edinburg, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)
  • Practice Setting: Private practice orthopedic group
  • Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team with practice development and marketing support

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive total joint care, including primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty across surgical and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
  • Manage shared call coverage and patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Utilize advanced orthopedic technology including robotic-assisted surgery systems

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty preferred
  • Active or eligible Texas medical license
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
