The LCSW will operate in a supportive climate-controlled remote setting, primarily through telehealth modalities. Daily interactions will occur with multidisciplinary team members and healthcare professionals, all while adhering to state regulations and best practices. • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations of clients' mental health status through appropriate clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
• Create individualized treatment plans that account for the unique cultural backgrounds and special needs of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support client goals, employing various therapeutic techniques to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all clinical interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate collaborative planning with clients and their families, ensuring that treatment goals align with their specific needs and desired outcomes.
• Guide and mentor students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Participate in clinical supervision and peer review processes, offering insights to enhance team performance and patient care.

This role primarily supports individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that accompany their health journeys. Your interventions will directly aim to reduce distress, improve mental health outcomes, and enhance overall well-being.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practice and familiarity with mental health assessment tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on maintaining client confidentiality and safety.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks within a fast-paced work environment.

• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting, preferably working with oncology clients.
• Knowledge of local resources and referral options to enhance support for clients.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or teaching students or early career professionals.
