Project Manager/Strategy & Operations

Strategy & Operations

This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Project Manager/Strategy & Operations resource at the Senior Associate level.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute strategic projects at the direction of the Chief of Staff
  • Lay the foundation for a Project Management Office (PMO) within the Operations department
  • Coordinate activities and communications across cross-functional teams
  • Streamline workflows and oversee resource allocation to expedite project delivery
  • Maintain standards for high-quality and timely outputs
  • Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies and solutions
  • Oversee complex project plans, monitoring performance and adhering to compliance guidelines

  • Upon starting in this role, your first projects may include:
  • Market Entry: Lead cross-functional launch of hardware product into new markets; develop product roadmaps, market segmentation analysis, pricing strategy, and marketing channel recommendations; refine ICP for hardware solution
  • Hardware Sourcing and Distribution: Mature Go Abacus hardware manufacturing and distribution defining processes for component procurement, assembly, shipping, asset management, and refresh cycles
  • Toolset Transition: Research, evaluate, and recommend a new PM and CRM toolset to executive leadership; define transition timeline, department-level use cases, and training plan; drive company-wide rollout and ongoing adoption
  • Conference Strategy: Build a decision matrix and 12-month rolling calendar to guide conference selection and budgeting; manage team logistics, materials, and asset shipping; define ROI metrics and develop a data-driven framework for resource allocation
  • Office Relocation: Manage transition to new office, including vendor coordination, logistics, and timeline; develop a change management approach that prioritizes a smooth employee experience

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, information systems, public health or liberal arts
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, project management or strategic operations roles
  • Proficient in resource management and logistics
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solver and quick learner with strong leadership abilities
