Job description

and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Change Management Analyst to support the program's configuration control board, customer's technical post implementation review, and root cause analysis of issues that arise during network maintenance from a technical and process prospective; as well as, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to process program maintenance activities through applicable local and enterprise channels.

The job duties of the Change Management Analyst are as follows:

  • This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Support measurement and reporting for weekly and monthly meetings and as required.
  • Experience with ServiceNow dashboards, tools, and reporting.
  • Interface with and coordinate work taskings through customer managed ticket system.
  • Collaborate with the Project Managers to integrate change management activities into the existing project plans.
  • Identifies and tracks program risks and action items to closure, assessing risk and cost of changes.
  • Ability to cover down for team lead in their absence.
  • Assist the team lead in ensuring timely approval for all types of changes.
  • Manage change and trouble tickets within the guidelines of the Change Management procedures.
  • Create change management plans for projects or change initiatives acknowledging all aspects of change - analysis, plan, implementation, communication, and other associated change considerations.
  • Work with project team for scheduling changes, and ensure change evaluation and release planning is effective.
  • Support the team lead in efforts ensuring high performance and quality are consistent.
  • Assist the team lead in ensuring timely approval for all types of changes.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams for evaluation of change during approval and after deployment.
  • Vetting and when required, engaging with maintenance activity submitters on their requested maintenance submissions to ensure accurate and timely execution of planned activities.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master's and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Additional required qualifications include:Must comply with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.

Additional required qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of the Service Management basic functionality, workflows, and ITSM processes.
  • ITIL V3 or V4 working knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of product release methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a change manager on a government program.
  • ITIL V3 or 4 certification.
  • IT networks background with a moderate understanding of network equipment, protocols, routing & switching.
