Job description

The Opportunity

This position supports acquisition engineering and product support and logistics (PS&L) services at NSWC Crane. The work sustains product and lifecycles support, supply support, technical data, training, reliability and maintainability, data analytics, configuration management and program support. The Program Manager leads the entire task order and owns the customer relationship.

This position is expected to be designated as Key Personnel on upcoming contracts and to function as an internal manager.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for cost, schedule and performance across all task areas.
  • Maintain a visible, responsive presence with the Government program office at NSWC Crane; run recurring status cadences and turn emergent tasking around quickly.
  • Manage deliverables end to end: monthly status reports, funds and man-hour expenditure reporting, staffing plans and the program management plan.
  • Oversee the integrated master schedule and plan of action and milestones for assigned projects.
  • Lead a multi-company team; manage subcontractor performance and integration.
  • Own staffing across roughly 30 positions spanning logistics, technical data, analytics, configuration management and training: recruiting, onboarding and retention.
  • Lead contract transition and phase-in without disrupting support to the fleet.
  • Run program risk management and keep Government and company leadership informed with metrics that hold up.
Required Qualifications
  • US citizenship and an active SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
  • 8 or more years of program or project management experience, including DoD services contracts.
  • Experience managing cost-type contracts and Government data deliverables (CDRLs).
  • A demonstrated record of hands-on, present, responsive program leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NSWC Crane, NAVSEA or SeaPort task order experience.
  • PMP or DAWIA program management credential.
  • Experience leading logistics or product support programs for fielded Navy systems.
  • Prior military service.
Location and Work Environment

Work is performed on site at NSWC Crane, Indiana, and at the TCS facility near Crane. This is not a remote position; candidates must live within commuting distance of Crane or be willing to relocate.

TCS GovCon is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
