Job description

Our client, a boutique law firm, is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join its team.

They are looking for an associate with 2โ€“6 years of post-JD experience in civil litigation who is comfortable in a fast-paced, trial-oriented environment and eager to take ownership of complex matters.

What you'll do:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including commercial litigation, white-collar matters, and bankruptcy disputes
  • Own cases from pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Collaborate closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy
  • Draft motions, briefs, and key legal documents
  • Lead discovery efforts, including taking and defending depositions
  • Participate in court proceedings, with opportunities to argue motions and examine witnesses

Requirements
