Job description

Staff Accountant

Our mission is to provide great-tasting draft beer to the consumer the way the brewmaster intended and to grow the sales of draft beer in the markets we serve.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for accurately recording accounts receivable and accounts payable data, processing payroll, spreadsheet manipulation, and performing various ad hoc tasks as requested. This position will report to the Controller and be responsible for reports sent directly to leadership and other key personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Record A/R invoices sourced from various AHFP platforms in QuickBooks and billing while ensuring transactions are processed promptly, accurately, and completely
  • Receive payments through various methods, including check, debit/credit, and ACH
  • Completing payroll processing for review by leadership
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide customers with requested documents such as payment authorization forms, W-9s, and COIs
  • Update and maintain accounting department records
  • Pull reports out of QuickBooks and summarize for leadership, ensuring accuracy of the information and efficiency of communications
  • Create importable excel entries from prior examples to increase efficiency
  • Other duties assigned by the leadership team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Related field
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet platforms
  • Comfortability moving between multiple different platforms/websites to pull together information
  • Experience utilizing QuickBooks Sync
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a staff accounting role

Location and Schedule

  • This is an in-office position reporting to our Nashville location (240 Great Circle Rd. #344 Nashville, TN 37228), with a typical schedule of Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm.
  • We are seeking candidates willing to make the move to Nashville within 3-6 months to join our on-site team. Relocation assistance is available for successful candidates.
