Cost Accounting Manager

Fairfield County, CT (Hybrid)

Relocation Assistance Available

We are partnering with a well-established, large, PE-backed companythat is well-branded and undergoing a positive transformation. The firm is looking to add a Cost Accounting Manager to its finance leadership team.

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the U.S./Americas Controller, with responsibility for leading the cost accounting function and managing three Senior Accountants. The role will have significant visibility across Operations, FP&A, Procurement and Supply Chain.

Weโ€™re looking for someone with strong experience in:

  • Standard costing and variance analysis
  • Inventory accounting, valuation and reserves
  • COGS and margin analysis
  • Month-end/year-end close
  • Cost modeling and profitability analysis
  • Process improvement and internal controls
  • SAP/ERP systems: SAP strongly preferred
  • Leading and developing a team

The environment is high-volume, fast-paced, and product/inventory driven, so someone coming from consumer products, manufacturing, or another inventory-intensive business could be a great fit.

8+ years of cost accounting experience is preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
