The role will support month-end accounting, reconciliations, internal controls, and audit readiness while also serving as a key resource for NetSuite, SAP Concur, and related accounting tools. The right candidate will be comfortable learning on the job, investigating issues, supporting users, documenting processes, and helping a lean team make practical use of new system capabilities.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Prepare and support journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, and other month-end close responsibilities.
  • Support accounting for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and assigned balance-sheet and income-statement accounts.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and review-ready support for accounting entries, reconciliations, close checklists, audits, and internal reviews.
  • Research reconciling items and accounting questions, identify the underlying issue, and follow through to resolution.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day NetSuite and SAP Concur questions from accounting and business users.
  • Support NetSuite administration, reporting, saved searches, workflows, user access, testing, data validation, and issue troubleshooting within established review and approval procedures.
  • Support SAP Concur Expense and Travel administration, user questions, testing, reporting, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Assist with testing system enhancements, releases, integrations, and finance transformation initiatives; document results and retain appropriate support.
  • Maintain process documentation, user guidance, system records, and internal-control support so information remains current and audit-ready.
  • Help evaluate and responsibly apply NetSuite AI capabilities and other approved AI-enabled finance tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and user support.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders on ad hoc requests and special projects.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or active CPA candidacy is preferred but not required.
  • Approximately 3-7 years of experience in accounting, financial systems, finance operations, public accounting, or a combination of these areas.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial-statement impact.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite including user support, reporting, testing, troubleshooting, or system administration.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to organize, analyze, and explain financial information clearly.
  • Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm, is strongly preferred; financial services, fintech, technology, or multi-entity experience is a plus.
Skills
  • Curious and proactive, with a genuine interest in understanding how accounting processes, systems, and data work together.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and using sound business judgment to connect system changes to accounting and control impacts.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a lean and changing environment.
  • A clear communicator who can work well with accountants, end users, technical resources, and management.
  • Able to document work thoughtfully, ask focused questions, and take ownership of assignments through completion.
Technical Proficiency (a plus)
  • Experience supporting or administering NetSuite, including saved searches, report building, analytics, roles and permissions, workflows, data imports, or release testing.
  • Experience with SAP Concur Expense or Travel.
  • Knowledge of NSPB, Smart View, or another financial planning and reporting platform.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools or participating in an AI, automation, ERP, or finance-transformation project; certification is not required.
  • Experience with internal controls, SOC reports, SOX, public-company readiness, or audit support.
What We Offer:
  • Inspiring colleagues and an invigorating start-up environment
  • Competitive base salary, bonus and incentive compensation
  • Company paid health insurance for employee, partner and dependents
  • Life insurance, short-term & long-term disability coverage
  • 401K plan with company match
  • Pre-tax transit and parking program and flexible spending programs for medical and dependent care
