In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans, which may include modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Delivering hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training to facilitate patient recovery.
• Educating and guiding patients in proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness in their therapeutic regimen.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, reporting updates and necessary modifications to supervising Physical Therapists in real-time.
• Maintaining accurate and timely entries in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.
• Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of patients during treatment sessions, addressing concerns and modifying approaches as necessary.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that foster positive patient outcomes.
• Providing education to patients and their families about home exercise programs and recovery strategies to enhance rehabilitation results.

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical patients, and those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will encounter a variety of cases, each requiring unique therapeutic approaches. • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PTA, preferably in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques and rehabilitation protocols, accompanied by the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective team collaboration and patient interactions.
• A familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to support efficient and precise documentation practices.

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment focusing on outpatient therapy is preferred.
• Knowledge of various rehabilitation modalities and therapeutic techniques would be an asset.
• Experience in managing electronic health records systems specific to rehabilitation settings.
