Job description

Ø Performs in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures. To this end, bring together a committee of peers and guide the process.
Ø Manage and prioritize projects and RCAs, ensuring effective planning and execution
Ø Proposes solutions resulting from the analyses, implements the selected options and ensures their effectiveness
Ø Studies the impact of general factors that can affect the performance of several pieces of equipment (e.g.: humidity level, electrical input performance, etc.)
Ø Monitor our application of methods and technologies while proposing solutions to improve equipment reliability
Ø Ensure constant communication with the maintenance department to establish area priorities
Ø Continuously improve established maintenance processes including Defect Handling and Breakdown Elimination
Ø Train and coach operators to handle different aspects of maintenance including DH and BDE and CID
Ø Reduced negative impact of machine reliability
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
v Demonstrated critical thinking skills to interpret, evaluate and analyze facts and information to support problem solving
v Ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations with an open mind considering creative and standard processes
v Strong organizational and prioritization skills
v Interest in the Lean Production System principles
