Job Overview for Maintenance Reliability Coordinator
The Lee Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Reliability Coordinator to join one of our valued manufacturing clients. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Maintenance Manager by coordinating preventive maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and helping maximize production uptime. The ideal candidate has a strong industrial maintenance background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate maintenance activities while providing hands-on technical support when needed. Job Responsibilities of Maintenance Reliability Coordinator
  • Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules across production equipment, utilities, and facility assets.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, service histories, asset documentation, and PM schedules.
  • Track overdue preventive maintenance tasks and follow maintenance activities through completion.
  • Monitor equipment performance, recurring failures, and downtime trends to improve reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide hands-on support with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as needed.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers performing maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation work.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate replenishment with purchasing.
  • Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and production line changes.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation while ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and plant procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications of Maintenance Reliability Coordinator
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification, trade training, or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability, or technical operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting production equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor, motor, drive, and utility systems.
  • Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting equipment installation and startup activities is preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Maintenance Reliability Coordinator
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, forklift traffic, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Regularly walk the facility while balancing administrative coordination with floor support.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to support equipment installations, vendor visits, startup activities, and urgent maintenance needs as required.
