We have an amazing opportunity for a Sr. Reliability Engineer reporting to the Reliability Manager, based at Sloan's Headquarters in Franklin Park. In this role, you will be responsible for quantifying product reliability requirements, ensuring reliability is designed into products through best practices, and verifying that reliability requirements are met through design analysis and testing. You will also play a key role in championing ISO/IAPMO certification for our labs, supporting continuous improvement and compliance across reliability testing operations.
What you'll do:
  • Accelerates tests to reduce test time and remaining within the limits of the product.
  • Developing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes for new and existing assets.
  • Plans tests to determine potential production and safety risks.
  • Diagnoses asset failures to ensure they don't occur again.
  • Investigates the cause of a product or system failure and determines how to prevent it from happening again.

What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering reliability fundamentals and application preferred
  • 5+ Years Relevant Experience In Reliability Engineering
  • Ability to use discretion when working with confidential information.
  • Able to plan, organize, and schedule individual and group work assignments.
  • Advanced level experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and data analysis tools.
  • Advanced level experience working with engineering applications.
  • Advanced level experience working with enterprise reporting tools.

5+ Years Manufacturing industry experience
5+ Years ISO Certification
ISO 9001 Lead
ISO Auditor
Reliability Engineer (CRE)
