Starting at $65,000-$85,000 a year
Seeking Full-Time Area Supervisor (District Manager)
Requirements:
To meet restaurant goals, the Area Supervisor doesn't work alone. He or she leads a team of General Managers at 3-5 restaurants. This means helping the General Managers to set their restaurant goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their Restaurants. The Area Supervisor may also be responsible for hiring and developing General Managers, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future!
To be successful, an Area Supervisor should be able to:
  • Identify key business issues within individual restaurants affecting performance, influence decisions, align resources, take immediate action and hold others accountable.
  • Drive outstanding reliability, product quality and financial performance for individual restaurants within an organization to drive consistent same store sales and transaction growth.
  • The Area Supervisor accomplishes these objectives by actively engaging in the supporting and coaching GMs and other managers as needed on a day to day basis.

Focus Areas include:
  • Establishing and reviewing store specific guest satisfaction performance targets
  • Improving sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining company standards in food safety, product and facility specifications.
  • Allocating limited budgets to meet highest priority needs
  • Reinforcing new products and initiatives
  • Recruiting, training, developing and motivating General Managers, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers
  • Evaluating for compliance around national brand promotions
  • Visiting restaurants frequently during all shifts including nights and weekends
  • Complete monthly cash and security audits
  • Conduct meetings with General Manager
  • Ensure the restaurant managers uphold the standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC)
  • Ensure the restaurants meet or exceed operational goals through Labor, Sales, Profit, PACE, Food Cost, etc...
  • Ensure the restaurants are following all operational and company policies
  • Ensure the restaurants pass all announced and unannounced company audits
  • Ensure the restaurants pass all Health Department and Ecosure food safety audits
  • Develop your managers to perform at the highest levels
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Execute an operational plan
  • Ensure the restaurants are operating in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Review operational reports, analyze and develop an action plan to improve any areas that are not performing up to standards.
  • Daily follow up on all action plans to ensure improvements
  • Must be able to multi-task and have great time management skills
  • Other duties and tasks assigned by the Director of Operations and Owner

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of McDonald's Corporation- Hamburger University / ROLP.
  • OTP 2 or OTP 3 preferred
  • Experience as a General Manager / Area Supervisor / District Manager / Multi-Unit Ops Manager of a Quick Service Restaurant for at least 2 years
  • Ability to recruit, develop and retain General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Shift Managers and Crew Members
  • Relationship management: ability to successfully influence and build trust with varying styles and personalities
  • Understanding of restaurant operations
  • Proven ability to drive results through coaching and establishing successful routines and enforcing brand standards.

  • Ability to Problem Solve
  • Ability to sit, stand, drive and travel for extended periods of time
