We are looking for our next Maintenance & Reliability Specialist within our POLYOX team. The Maintenance & Reliability Specialist is the focal point in determining area maintenance service contractor strategies, administration of service contracts and addresses issues pertaining to the service contractor. The MRO coordinator will be responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving functions as well as coordinate all documentation and activities associated with MRO operations.The incumbents will also participate in all EH&S programs and initiatives as well as assisting to implement solutions.

This position is located in Institute, WV.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $74,695- $99,006. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinates/participates in contractor bid and selection process.
  • Executes contractor prequalification work process.
  • Monitors contractor safety performance, scores and safety program with coordination through IS Networld.
  • Develops contractor training profiles and assists in training coordination both in-house and with 3rd party vendors.
  • Monitors field audits, EHS standard assessments and observations on contractors
  • Actively participates in RCIs for contractors to ensure true root cause is determined and actions are identified and implemented to close gaps.
  • Attends and actively participates (as needed) in contractor safety meetings and leverages Roquette expectations and key learnings as appropriate.
  • Ensures contractor receives site indoctrination with verification of understanding and documentation covering the general site rules and standards general to the contractor's work site.
  • Direct responsibility for managing the activities of the contractor based on the terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Direct responsibility for resolution of issues pertaining to delivery of service defined within the contracts. Monitors feedback process through ISN.
  • Supports Purchasing in contract negotiations with the contract company. Initiates discussions with Purchasing to refine or modify contract deliverables
  • Ensures compliance from on-site contractors with Site Conditions Document, regulatory and Roquette safety requirements
  • Understands scope of work and participates in job package preparation process
  • When needed, conducts pre-job meetings, inspection of contractor equipment, acceptance of services for work completed, and monitor safety/quality/cost/schedule
  • Assist in development of contractor JSAs (Job Safety Analyses) and audit compliance as needed
  • Conform to plant safety and environmental policies, accepting responsibility for personal safety
  • Participate on organization EH&S teams and initiatives to implement solutions and improvements
  • Storeroom and inventory management to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Manage Capital spares or unique/custom-made items which are stored in warehouse
  • Management of all documentation pertaining to MRO operations
  • Identification of needed material identification and extending SAP numbers to site as needed
  • Perform as MRP planner, MRP controller, PM-MRO Materials Planner as needed

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Highschool education, GED or higher with craft or technical expertise
  • Technical or Bachelor's Degree in a relative field (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5+ years in field contract administration, maintenance supervision, chemical operations, EH&S or project management
  • 5+ years experience in rotating equipment reliability (preferred)
  • Computer and technical literacy; demonstrated skill in use of Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel).
  • Experience with ISO and cGMP requirements (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP (preferred)

Work Environment

  • This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time in the plant environment.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments.
  • Employee must be able to wear required PPE (fire-resistant clothing, steel-toed shoes, hardhat, eye/ear protection)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.
