Job description

As a Biscuit Maker (Back of House Team Member) at Chick-fil-A, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality, delicious food to our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing our signature fresh-baked biscuits every morning with precision, care, and attention to quality. You'll play a vital role in starting the day off right for our guests by consistently delivering the high standards they've come to expect.

Schedule and Availability

Candidate should be available to work between the hours of 5am to 5pm Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare biscuits according to Chick-fil-A's recipes and procedures
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and temperature at every stage of preparation
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area
  • Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures are followed
  • Communicate with kitchen team and leadership to maintain workflow and product levels
  • Track and manage product rotation to reduce waste
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory
  • Support the back-of-house team as needed in other prep or cooking roles

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to follow recipes, safety procedures, and operational guidelines precisely
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours per shift.

  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in hot or cold conditions (such as kitchen, walk-in cooler/freezer, or outside).
