About the Team:

Protective Operations is a trusted business partner dedicated to protecting our people, securing our facilities, managing risk, and enabling the safe, secure, and uninterrupted execution of Relativity Space's mission through operational excellence, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for protecting our people, facilities, intellectual property, and critical business operations while leading a high-performing security team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Physical Security Manager will serve as a key leader within Protective Operations, partnering across the business to ensure security programs remain effective, scalable, and aligned with company growth.

About You:

  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing day-to-day operational demands with long-term security planning, risk mitigation, and program development.
  • Experience with enterprise security platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, or Verkada
  • Strong business partner who collaborates effectively across departments, communicates confidently with executives, and builds trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operationally driven with experience managing enterprise physical security programs, security technology, vendor performance, budgets, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-oriented and adaptable, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to make informed decisions in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • High-integrity leader who leads by example, takes ownership, earns trust through action, and is committed to protecting people, assets, and the company's mission.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • ASIS CPP or PSP certification (or equivalent professional certification)
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Active or previously held U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor Certification
