Overview
This is a full-time career opportunity (approximately 40 hours per week) based out of our Manassas, VA financial center at 9012 Church Street. Must be available to be scheduled around branch operation hours (no Sundays).
The Relationship Banker is responsible for providing an exceptional Financial Center customer experience by handling every customer need from service to sales with passion and enthusiasm. This role provides customers with a one stop experience to fulfill all their financial needs including account opening, lending, partner sales referrals, maintenance, and transaction processing. Incumbents will focus on customer-centric conversations to deepen relationships and become a trusted advisor. Actively promote a variety of banking solutions to enhance a customer's service experience and achieve their financial goals. Responsible for sales expectations that contribute to the growth and success of the financial center.
Responsibilities
  • Drive proactive sales conversations by engaging in outbound campaign calls, handling inbound contact center inquiries through participation in Fulton Banks Distributed Work model, scheduling appointments, and actively engaging customers in the lobby as well as during transaction processing. Use digital tools to proactively demonstrate digital solutions to customers, with the goal to identify sales opportunities and convert them into tangible outcomes to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Advance personal knowledge of sales techniques and utilize the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and other resources to foster relationship-building conversations with customers and to ensure a consistent approach to new customer onboarding and expanding existing relationships.
  • Manage risk by maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and Fulton policies and procedures, while demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Leverage practical knowledge and understanding of digital solutions and technology to support customers and solve problems.

Additional Responsibilities
  • May serve as a Notary Public for their financial center.

Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: not applicable at this level. (Required)
Experience
2 or more years customer service or sales experience. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Pro-active and result oriented (Preferred)
  • Highly collaborative with Fulton Partners and Financial Center Team Members (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to have needs-based conversations (Preferred)

The hourly rate for this position is $20.43 - $32.31.

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
