The Communications teamis a committed and creative team thatcontributes toCAE'ssuccess throughinternal and externalcommunications,media relations,socialresponsibilityand public affairsinitiatives. Working within an established Communications leadership structure, this role is built for a communications professional who wants broader influence, greaterautonomyand a visible enterprise mandate.Our enterprise functionsdon'tjust supportthebusiness,theyhelpleadit. This is a high-impact advisory role for someone ready tooperateclose to enterprise decision-making, with direct exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to help shape how CAE shows up externally.

Get ready to:

  • Coordinate CAE's external media exposure, providing enterprise-level oversight,prioritizationand risk management across media engagements in close alignment with Communications leadership.
  • Recommend media positioning and exposure for enterprise and business unit opportunities, including complex,sensitiveor high-visibility engagements involving senior executives and the CEO.
  • Manage the media pipeline, help arbitrate competing priorities, and provide senior counsel on which opportunities to pursue and how to prepare for them.
  • Support external briefs,paneland conference preparation, speaking points, editorials, executivespeechesand other materials that strengthen CAE's positioning.
  • Work closely with Communications advisors,Government Relations, Marketing,HRand other functions to ensureconsistentanddisciplinedexternal messaging.
  • Play a key role during issues and crises by guiding responses,advisingspokespersonsand helping mitigate reputational risk.

Minimum Qualifications

  • ABachelor'sdegreein Communications, Public Relations,PoliticalScienceJournalism, Marketing Communications, orrelateddiscipline.
  • 8 years of experience in public relations agencies, corporate communications, or political communications.
  • Bilingual with excellent writing,proofreadingand editing skills in English and French.
  • Experience in media relation strategy and communication stakeholder management.
  • International and local media relations experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, sense of autonomy and self-discipline.
