EHS Associate
As an Environmental Health & Safety Associate, you will play a key role in strengthening our workplace safety culture across both office and field environments.
You will support day-to-day health & safety operations, help ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and promote a safe, responsible working environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will combine administrative support, coordination, training assistance, and data tracking to help embed a strong safety mindset across the organization.
Requirements
  • University degree (or equivalent experience) in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a corporate or office environment (internship experience considered)
  • Basic understanding of workplace risk areas (e.g., slips, trips, emergency preparedness, field safety fundamentals)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviors
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Occupational Health & Safety certification or equivalent qualification is a plus

Areas of Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Program Support
  • Support implementation of local health & safety regulations and corporate EHS standards
  • Assist in maintaining and administering corporate EHS programs and tools
  • Communicate key health & safety initiatives across the local organization
  • Support compliance documentation and reporting requirements

2. Systems, Training & Emergency Preparedness
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of EHS management systems to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Assist in developing and delivering engaging safety training and awareness sessions
  • Help maintain emergency preparedness plans and response readiness
  • Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks using designated systems and tools

3. Planning & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to annual and strategic EHS planning by tracking performance indicators and supporting execution of initiatives
  • Participate in programs aimed at identifying hazards and reducing workplace risk
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across health & safety processes

4. Incident Reporting & Investigation
  • Ensure timely reporting and accurate documentation of workplace incidents
  • Maintain up-to-date incident records in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and tracking of corrective actions

5. Culture & Engagement
  • Actively participate in the Health & Safety Committee
  • Promote a strong safety culture through daily behaviors and leading by example
  • Encourage proactive hazard reporting and safe work practices across teams
