Job description

Position Description: The Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) is a major Department of Defense enterprise application supporting accountable property and logistics operations across all Defense Services and more than 50 Defense Agencies. ELMS manages over 80 million assets valued at more than $141 billion, serving as the Department's Accountable Property System of Record. The system provides enterprise capabilities for: . Financial reporting The Testing Specialist/Tester provides hands on software testing expertise to ensure that ELMS system enhancements, integrations, and releases meet required technical, functional, security, and performance standards. This role designs test scenarios, builds test scripts, prepares test data, analyzes results, and validates system behavior to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements. This position is located in Harrisburg, PA. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Provide software testing experience across integration and acceptance testing phases. . Design and execute IT software tests and evaluate results to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to system design. . Prepare detailed test scripts, scenarios, and all required test documentation. . Design and prepare all required test data needed to support functional, security, and performance testing. . Analyze internal system security during testing to identify potential vulnerabilities, issues, or non compliant behaviors. . Review test results and evaluate system behavior and outputs for conformance to design specifications. . Support testing activities across the ELMS lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, troubleshooting, and release validation. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Five (5) years of relevant experience. . Experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including: System testing Regression testing Acceptance testing End to end testing Performance testing Automation testing . Knowledge developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools. . Based on the nature of the work, US citizenship and a Secret clearance are required. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: . Familiarity/experience with large scale DoD systems, including complex enterprise scale logistics management applications, data structures, and enterprise sustainment operational environments. . Ability to collaborate with analysts, developers, other testers, and government stakeholders. . Strong communication skills for reporting, documentation, and presentations.
