The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst โ€“ ERP Testing.


The Associate Workday ERP Testing Analyst supports the planning and execution of system testing activities within the Workday platform, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, and related integrations. This role assists in verifying that system changes align with business needs and comply with SOX and audit requirements. Responsibilities include contributing to test planning, executing test cases, tracking defects, and collaborating with functional teams, IT, and vendors to help deliver quality Workday releases and support ongoing improvements.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and execution of test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts aligned with Workday release cycles, business requirements, and functional specifications.

  • Execute manual and automated testing across Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Financials) and related integrations, including system, integration, regression, smoke, and security testing.

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, including test scheduling, execution support, and issue validation.

  • Validate payroll, financial, and HCM data accuracy through reconciliations, control checks, and end-to-end testing activities.

  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects using designated test management and defect tracking tools through resolution.

  • Support Workday releases, patches, and ongoing regression testing cycles to ensure system stability and performance.

  • Collaborate with functional analysts, technical teams, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and retest fixes.

  • Assist with test environment coordination, data preparation, and maintenance in partnership with IT teams.

  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, evidence, and artifacts to support audit readiness and knowledge continuity.

  • Help ensure testing activities, configurations, and system changes comply with SOX controls, audit standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and efficiency.

  • Assist in preparing reports and presentation materials summarizing testing status, results, and outcomes for stakeholders.


Qualifications
Position Requirements:

  • Associateโ€™s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with software testing concepts, methodologies, and the testing life cycle, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

  • Proficiency or handsโ€‘on exposure to testing, documentation, and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, ALM, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Basic understanding of Workday ERP modules (HCM, Payroll, Financials) and familiarity with integration testing and system data flows is desirable.

  • Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and support validation activities through testing.

  • Experience documenting processes, creating change control documentation, and maintaining clear testing artifacts.

  • Working knowledge of data privacy, information security, and compliance principles; familiarity with SOX or audit standards is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problemโ€‘solving, organizational, and attentionโ€‘toโ€‘detail skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fastโ€‘paced technology environment.

  • Proficiency with basic data analysis and reporting in Excel (e.g., filters, pivot tables).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with crossโ€‘functional teams, including IT, business users, and thirdโ€‘party vendors.

  • Technically capable, customerโ€‘service oriented, and motivated to learn and grow within an ERP and testingโ€‘focused role.
