At Starr & Associates (S&A), we are a full-service business consulting firm delivering advisory and execution services across multiple industries and complex business domains. QA / Test Analysts at S&A are embedded within client delivery teams to ensure solution quality, reliability, and fitness for purpose across custom-built technology solutions.
This role focuses on functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing, with an emphasis on leveraging automated testing approaches. QA / Test Analysts collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to validate requirements, test execution, and defect resolution.
Client programs may include initiatives involving emissions-related data and environmental metrics, requiring strong attention to accuracy, traceability, and end-to-end validation.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned to project requirements
  • Functional Testing: Execute functional testing to validate system behavior against documented requirements
  • Integration Testing: Validate data flows and integrations across systems, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality
  • Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts where appropriate
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
  • Test Data Management: Create and manage test data to support test execution

Education
  • Bachelors Degree required
