Job description

Radiology Technologist

Choice Care Surgery Center is hiring a Radiology Technician. We have 3 OR rooms, 2 Treatment rooms and 2 Cath Labs. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Radiologic Technician at Choice Care Surgery Center: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional patient care Responsibilities:

  • Perform intraoperative and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and exposure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies.
  • Assist in quality control and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • AART Registered and CPR Current.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
