Job description

Registration and Membership Associate

The Registration and Membership Associate is responsible for membership and program registration, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient administrative operations. This role supports the Community Center's mission by managing membership sales, maintaining accurate participant data, and collaborating with staff to deliver an excellent member experience.

1. Membership & Registration Management

• Handle membership sales activities, including renewals and new enrollments

• Process program and class registrations in person, by phone, and online

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of members and participants

• Verify eligibility, payment status, and required documentation for all registrations

• Meet established membership, enrollment, and financial objectives.

2. Customer Service

• Serve as the point of contact for registration and membership inquiries

• Provide detailed information regarding program schedules, fees, and policies

• Resolve participant questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Support the Center's goal of maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

3. Administrative & Data Support

• Generate registration and membership reports as needed

• Ensure data accuracy within registration and CRM systems.

4. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with program coordinators to ensure accurate rosters and scheduling

• Communicate participant updates, cancellations, and waitlist changes.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

• Previous experience in customer service, membership sales, or registration management preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or registration software preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Professional, courteous demeanor with a commitment to exceptional service

Schedule

This is a full-time, year-round position. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for special events or registration periods.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience
