Essential Function
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
The Registration Assistant will support the daily functions of the Welcome Center. The position processes registration requests and other enrollment related activities, including withdrawals, restrictions, and more.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 6 months experience in clerical or customer service work.
KNOWLEDGE:Efficient and proficient utilization of office equipment including personal computer; MS Office Software programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and database management systems.
SKILLS:
Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and community members to support a smooth transition for new students and current students into the college community; ability to utilize computer software and assessment programs and knowledge of federal ADA requirements.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide excellent customer service as identified in the college's performance standards.
2. Process student registration and other enrollment related- requests.
3. Process and manage application of student residency and privacy information related tasks.
4. Provide information to students and guests as necessary.
5. File and scan documents in a timely manner.
6. Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 nights Monday - Thursday until 6pm and Friday until 4pm. Saturday availability may be requested during periods of peak registration.
7. Other duties as assigned.
