Role Mission:

The Regional Sales Lead role is responsible for securing profitable work within assigned geographic region by prospecting, building relationships, presenting proposals, and converting opportunities into awarded projects. This role expands Hewitt Young’s presence and brand at the local market level.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and win new business opportunities across the assigned region.
  • Build trusted relationships with strategic customer bases including but not limited to GCs, owners, developers, integrators, industrial clients and municipalities.
  • Represent Hewitt Young in client meetings, job walks, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Qualify opportunities to ensure bid targets align with HY strategy and margin goals.
  • Partner with Estimating and Preconstruction to deliver accurate, clear, and competitive proposals.
  • Maintain CRM discipline – updates, forecasts, status notes, and next steps of accountability.
  • Communicate sales risks and opportunities proactively to leadership.
  • Support contract negotiation and ensure scope clarity to eliminate downstream surprises.
  • Serve as a professional and recognizable face of Hewitt Young within the region.

  • Proven success in construction or field service sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
