Job description

Responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping of the buildings and grounds associated with the property to provide an impeccable and safe environment for all shoppers, tenants, and vendors. Enhancing the value of the center by supporting and effectively performing tasks assigned to the tech each day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain buildings and grounds by providing janitorial services, daily restroom servicing, and general grounds-keeping. Collecting litter that blows throughout the property, focusing on landscaping areas, sidewalks and walkways, ring roads, parking lot, back of house areas.
  • Remove trash by emptying trash containers and relining the containers, transporting materials to compactors located in designated disposal areas, recycling materials such as cardboard.
  • Be familiar with roof access to each building, Irrigation, water, and gas shutoffs.
  • Keep shop areas in broom swept condition.
  • Clear walkways of snow and ice as necessary, this will include hand shoveling and spreading ice melt.
  • Provide daily logs to report all information to the Operations Lead Tech. Report any safety hazards or emergencies to the Operations Manager immediately upon recognition.
  • Perform landscaping duties as required, i.e.: removing weeds, pruning, watering as directed by the Lead Operations Tech and Operations Manager.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and assistance to customers and tenants as the on-site representative. This may include but is not limited to providing directions, requests for security and our management.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Able to work weekends and evenings
  • A minimum of 1 year of commercial janitorial/maintenance experience is preferred

Salary Description
$22/hour
