Job description

Title: Regional Medical Director (PCP)

Location: Kokomo OR Jeffersonville, IN

Shift: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Work with regional program director on contracts with specialty and long-term care providers
  • Establish medical service delivery contacts and maintain provider relationships
  • Recruit, interview, credential, hire, and evaluate primary care providers
  • Supervise and orient clinical team members to maintain care quality
  • Confer with program director on standards for care, satisfaction, enrolment, emergency preparedness, and more
  • Assist in developing policy and procedures related to medical care

Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family / Internal Medicine (Geriatric Medicine preferred)
  • Completion of Internal Medicine Residency
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with senior care (required)
  • Minimum 2 years in long-term care with frail elderly population
  • Medical Directors Certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills
