Title: Regional Medical Director (PCP)
Location: Kokomo OR Jeffersonville, IN
Shift: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Work with regional program director on contracts with specialty and long-term care providers
- Establish medical service delivery contacts and maintain provider relationships
- Recruit, interview, credential, hire, and evaluate primary care providers
- Supervise and orient clinical team members to maintain care quality
- Confer with program director on standards for care, satisfaction, enrolment, emergency preparedness, and more
- Assist in developing policy and procedures related to medical care
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family / Internal Medicine (Geriatric Medicine preferred)
- Completion of Internal Medicine Residency
- Minimum 5 years of experience with senior care (required)
- Minimum 2 years in long-term care with frail elderly population
- Medical Directors Certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills
