About the role:
The Regional Sales Manager, Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), is responsible for driving sustainable business growth and commercial excellence across the assigned region. This role leads a highly dynamic and complex healthcare environment, requiring strong leadership, organizational discipline, structured execution and effective stakeholder management.
The Regional Sales Manager develops and executes regional business strategies aligned with divisional objectives, ensuring successful sales performance, market penetration, customer engagement and talent development. This leader is accountable for building a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and ensuring exceptional execution across all territories.
Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, navigate complex customer environments, align diverse stakeholders, resolve challenges constructively, and translate strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Business management:
• Monitor regional sales performance on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective actions as needed and preparing reports, analyses, forecasts and business reviews.
• Drive operational excellence through disciplined business planning, territory management, opportunity prioritization and performance monitoring.
• Ensure effective implementation of customer records, account profiles, key contact management, reporting processes and company policies.
• Partner with Sales Support, Marketing, Clinical and other cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and business priorities.
• Manage regional budgets, sales expenses and resource allocation to maximize business performance and return on investment.
Strategic planning:
• Lead regional strategic planning efforts in partnership with senior leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business plans.
• Analyze market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics and business trends to identify growth opportunities and address potential gaps.
• Develop actionable strategies that support market expansion, customer acquisition, retention and long-term business growth.
• Ensure alignment between territory plans, account strategies and overall regional objectives.
Industry knowledge:
• Maintain deep understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management technologies, market dynamics, clinical trends, reimbursement environments and competitive activities.
• Continuously assess market conditions and customer needs to refine business strategies and tactical plans.
• Gather and analyze competitive intelligence, preparing the team to effectively differentiate Boston Scientific solutions and value propositions.
• Promote continuous learning and professional development to ensure team expertise remains current and relevant.
Sales execution:
• Lead execution of divisional strategies and ensure consistent implementation across all territories.
• Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions with team members to reinforce best practices, improve performance and support professional development.
• Ensure effective territory management, account prioritization, opportunity management and sales execution.

• Support new product launches and ensure effective adoption strategies are implemented within the region.
• Manage customer programs, educational initiatives, advisory boards and professional networks that strengthen market position and customer engagement.
Economic value and strategic partnerships:
• Develop relationships with key economic buyers and decision-makers within strategic accounts.
• Support and facilitate complex negotiations, contracting discussions and value-based business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to create differentiated value through integrated solutions, services and customer partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused solutions that support long-term business growth.
Building and maintaining relationships:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, procurement teams, clinical stakeholders and key decision-makers.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments by balancing diverse interests and building alignment toward shared objectives.
• Maintain regular engagement with major accounts to identify opportunities, address challenges and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Required qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in sales, commercial leadership, business management or related fields.
• Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, performance management and team development.
• Demonstrated success leading teams in complex environments requiring strong organization, prioritization, stakeholder management and execution.
• Experience managing customer relationships and influencing decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
• Healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceutical, life sciences or related industry experience.
• Cardiovascular, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology or other clinically intensive business experience.
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $120,000 to $130,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com.
