Regional Manager information

Is a regional manager a big position?

A regional manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple locations or territories within a company. The position typically involves managing staff, implementing strategies, and meeting sales or operational goals, making it a significant and often high-responsibility role in an organization.

How much do regional managers earn?

Regional managers typically earn an average salary ranging from $70,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on the industry, location, and experience level. Compensation may also include bonuses, profit sharing, and benefits, with higher earnings often associated with larger regions or more senior roles.

How does a regional manager typically balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational responsibilities?

A Regional Manager often balances strategic planning with daily operations by setting clear regional goals and delegating routine tasks to local managers. They regularly review performance metrics, address escalated issues, and identify growth opportunities while ensuring that company policies are consistently implemented across locations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—such as sales, HR, and logistics—is common, allowing Regional Managers to stay aligned with overall business objectives while remaining responsive to immediate operational needs. Effective time management and prioritization are key to succeeding in this dual-focused role.

How much is a regional manager paid?

The average salary for a regional manager typically ranges from $70,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on the industry, location, and level of experience. Many regional managers also receive bonuses and benefits based on performance and company size.

What does a regional manager do?

A Regional Manager oversees operations, sales, and staff within a specific geographic area for a company. They are responsible for ensuring that their region meets company goals, implements policies, and maintains high standards of customer service. Regional Managers analyze performance data, provide guidance to local managers, and develop strategies to improve productivity and profitability. They often travel within their region to visit branches or stores, handle escalated issues, and report progress to upper management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a regional manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Regional Manager, you need strong leadership abilities, strategic planning skills, and a track record in sales or operations management, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics tools, and budgeting software is typically required. Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills help Regional Managers motivate teams and manage diverse challenges across multiple locations. These competencies are crucial for driving regional growth, ensuring operational consistency, and achieving organizational goals.

Job description

We are not just opening new offices. We are building something meaningful, one market at a time.About Us

For more than 30 years, Insurcomm Restoration has helped property owners, facility teams, and communities recover from fire, water, mold, storms, and environmental hazards. We deliver complete restoration, reconstruction, and emergency response. When everything goes wrong, you deserve everything going right.

As the anchor of the Fortify Companies network, Insurcomm brings deep restoration capabilities and proven operational discipline to a national platform spanning 100 or more locations across 30 states. We combine local expertise with shared technology to deliver consistent, reliable service at scale, positioning ourselves as strategic partners for property owners and insurers, not just emergency responders.

Backed by Summit Partners, we have the resources, reach, and commitment to long-term growth that make this an exceptional time to join our team.

Our Brand Values

Safety first, always: We hold ourselves to the highest standard to protect our team, clients, and communities

Showing up with a service heart: We help people move forward with empathy, respect, and unwavering commitment

Bringing the energy: We show up with urgency and a get-it-done mindset, owning every outcome

Predictability in the unpredictable: With standardized systems, we deliver consistency every time

Driving success together: By supporting one another, we strengthen relationships and drive results

About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Manager who sees greenfield expansion as the ultimate challenge: the opportunity to take raw potential and transform it into a thriving, multi-location operation. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. This is for entrepreneurial-minded builders, leaders, and player-coaches who want to create something from the ground up and own the results.

As Regional Manager, you will have the backing of our corporate team to establish and scale 3 to 6 service locations across your region. You will be growth-focused, using your P&L as a scorecard while making the strategic decisions that drive real expansion. You will build high-performing teams, forge relationships with key insurance and commercial partners, and create operational excellence in restoration services.

This is more than a job. It is a chance to write your own success story within a mission-driven company that is rapidly expanding nationwide. If you are strategic, hands-on, and ready to build something meaningful with compensation tied directly to the results you deliver, this is your opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Expansion

Drive strategic expansion and organic growth across multiple sites within your assigned region

Identify market opportunities and lead regional business development initiatives

Develop and execute operational plans aligned with Fortify's values and growth objectives

Operations & Service Excellence

Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring high standards in service delivery, safety, and compliance

Implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency and manage operating expenses

Leverage our shared technology platform to deliver consistent customer experiences from first call to final walkthrough

Team Leadership & Culture

Lead, mentor, and develop local leadership teams to foster a culture of accountability, performance, and service heart

Promote cross-functional collaboration between operations and corporate support functions

Embody the player-coach mentality: willing to roll up your sleeves alongside your team when needed

Financial Performance

Full P&L accountability for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance

Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed

Business Development & Partnerships

Recruit, train, and lead Business Development teams to execute the regional go-to-market strategy

Build relationships with key referral sources including insurance carriers, property managers, and commercial accounts

Partner with Corporate Marketing to share local market insights and execute regional campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness

Brand & Customer Experience

Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention, delivering on our promise of clear communication, no surprises, and dependable outcomes

Represent the company as a brand ambassador at local, regional, and national industry trade shows and conferences

Requirements

Qualifications:

8 to 15 years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, disaster recovery services, or other property services such as HVAC or waterproofing

Proven success in multi-site operations, organic growth, and cross-functional leadership

Strategic mindset with the ability to shift between high-level vision and hands-on execution

Demonstrated ability to build and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting key referral partners across local and regional markets

Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and job-level profitability models

       Executive-level communication and leadership presence

Willingness to travel throughout assigned region up to 75%; occasional national travel

You Will Thrive Here If You Are...

A growth-focused leader with hands-on operational expertise who embraces the player-coach mentality

A natural leader who inspires teams, drives accountability, and builds lasting partnerships

Energized by a fast-paced, evolving environment where you can shape outcomes

Attracted to compensation structures that reward performance and results

Entrepreneurial with a drive for results and innovation

Mission-driven, competitive, and motivated by building something meaningful

Connected: you bring established industry relationships and a regional network

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary with performance incentives tied to regional P&L results

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

       401(k) with company match

Generous PTO and 9 paid holidays

       Company vehicle or vehicle allowance

Ongoing leadership development and career advancement within the Fortify platform

Culture & Opportunity

A genuine greenfield opportunity: your market, your team, your results

The stability of a 30-year-old company with the energy of a growing national brand

PE-backed growth with genuine advancement opportunity as we expand

Career growth across multiple companies and markets under the Fortify umbrella

A team that values plain talk, hard work, and doing right by the people we serve

Ready to Build?

We are looking for someone who sees a blank map and gets energized. Someone who knows what it takes to open a market, build a team, and deliver results from the ground up. If that is you, we want to hear your story.
