About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to represent a stable regional insurance company with excellent ratings, a history of credibility in the industry, and an appetite for growth in an eastern North Carolina territory. The ideal candidate will have existing broker relationships to bring to the table, a track record of sales success, and strong technical knowledge of middle market property and casualty products and services. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a business plan for writing profitable business within the territory
  • Work with both internal and external partners to create steady streams of new business pipeline within their target prospects
  • Train and develop agents within the territory on systems and processes for quoting, underwriting, and binding policies
  • Keep up on competitive intelligence with other carriers that are also in the territory


Skills & Experience

  • 5-10 years of selling experience within an insurance company or competing carrier
  • Existing broker/agency relationships throughout the territory
  • Additional professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, etc. a huge plus
