Regional Director of Business Development, Eating Disorder

The Regional Director of Business Development, Eating Disorder, oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department of Eating Disorder facilities, to drive alignment, accountability, and performance through an established unified operating model with clear KPIs and market-focused deployment. The Regional Director of Business Development, Eating Disorder, is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods.

The Regional Director of Business Development, Eating Disorder, is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of regional and national issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment, and retention.

The Regional Director of Business Development, Eating Disorder, is responsible for the oversight of strategic business development and marketing plans, enhancing the eating disorder facilities brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with eating disorder facilities, communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with Divisional VP, BH, Service Line Sales and Admissions/Intake leadership.

Hours are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the Divisional VP, BH, Service Line Sales.

The Candidate that is chosen will support a large portfolio of UHS programs throughout the country. This position offers a hybrid schedule with travel and home-office work.

Travel in this role can be extensive, as up to 50% of your time will be spent traveling to and supporting our programs.

Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

  • Knowledge of application of marketing principles including product, placement, pricing and promotions.
  • Demonstrated sophisticated or advanced understanding of factors affecting sales results and effectively incorporates these into strategic plans.
  • Understanding of psychiatric and eating disorder treatment, and, age-specific programming.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans, target markets and referral sources.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
  • This position requires frequent travel.
