THE JOB

Live Nation is seeking qualified Regional Assistant Box Office Managers to assist with ticketing operations for concert venues in multiple locations around the US. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, professional interaction with management personnel, partners, clients of all levels, an ability to work efficiently, accurately and effectively under pressure, and ability to complete and prioritize tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in various ticketing software, staff management, and guest relations.

This position will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Box Office department within the scope of generally accepted practices and procedures for Live Nation owned & operated venues, as necessary. Travel may be required.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Core Duties

  • Serve as a Ticketing contact for events at the venue(s)/locations assigned

  • Develop strong working relationships with Live Nation promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and affiliated partners

  • Partner with Box Office Managers on training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision of Box Office personnel

  • Partner with Box Office Managers in ensuring Box Office staff adheres to the company's ticket operations policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with Box Office Managers, internal departments and external event personnel to ensure all ticketing needs are addressed

  • Partner with Box Office Managers in nightly Box Office operations during events (Ticket Sales, Reporting, ticket scanning, etc.)

  • Create a positive & collaborative working environment and maintain staff morale

  • Ensure the Ticketing department delivers exceptional customer service to all guests and works proactively to resolve any issues that arise

  • Facilitate open communication with the Box Office Managers, staff, and all other venue departments

Event Management Duties

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers within the region to build and maintain events for the venue(s) or locations assigned within the appropriate ticketing software.

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers, talent buyers, tour personnel, and internal staff, as necessary, with event programming, reporting, ticket holds, and other ticketing details

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers, Marketing, Production, Talent, artist management, and label representatives to set up events, place holds, process orders, and release tickets in a timely fashion

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers on monitoring of ticket inventory

  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to monitor and dynamically price tickets to maximize revenue

  • Partner with Ancillary Product team, Box Office Managers and Venue General Managers to create and optimize ancillary products to drive incremental revenue

  • Ensure ADA Compliant Ticketing Practices

Accounting/Financial Duties

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers to maintain accurate Box Office accounting records and archives in coordination with Box Office Manager and other stakeholders

  • Partner with Box Office Managers to ensure venue Box Office staff adheres to the company's cash handling policies and procedures

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers to perform Box Office safe reconciliation, prepare deposits, and run all daily financial reporting

  • Actively participate in event settlements, as needed

Other Duties

  • Partner with the Box Office Managers on monitoring all ticketing software and hardware and report any issues immediately

  • Embrace all new ticketing technology provided by Ticketmaster including TM1 Entry, TM1 Sales, TM1 Events etc.

  • Keep current with all key ticketing trends in the entertainment industry

  • Attend all relevant meetings, discussions, and conferences as the venue's ticketing lead

  • Assist in the accurate and timely flow of event and general venue information both intra-departmentally, and to the public

  • Any additional duties as assigned by leadership

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in box office or ticketing management

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

  • Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling

  • Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills

  • Appreciation and respect for diverse cultures, music genres, and artistic expressions

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Hands-on experience in live event operations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)''

  • In-depth knowledge of ticketing systems, especially Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, and the TM1 product suite
