We are seeking an experienced Gulf Coast Operations Manager to lead and oversee operations across multiple Gulf Coast facilities and project locations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational efficiency, employee development, inventory accuracy, logistics performance, and overall profitability.

Position Summary

The Gulf Coast Operations Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, equipment processing, project-site activities, facilities, and regional personnel.

The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who can manage multiple locations, develop high-performing teams, improve processes, and ensure that equipment and materials move safely and efficiently through the organization while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day operations across warehouses, processing centers, and project sites throughout the Gulf Coast region.
  • Establish operating procedures, staffing plans, performance expectations, and operational priorities.
  • Conduct regular site visits, operational reviews, and team meetings.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support company growth and operational excellence.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling activities.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Improve warehouse organization, space utilization, workflow, and productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and address damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory.

Logistics & Project Operations

  • Manage transportation, fleet utilization, freight coordination, and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee project mobilization and demobilization activities.
  • Coordinate resources, equipment, staffing, and timelines for customer projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for shipments and project activities.

Equipment Processing & Quality Control

  • Oversee equipment intake, inspection, testing, repair, reconditioning, and preparation for resale or rental.
  • Monitor production throughput, turnaround times, and quality standards.
  • Implement process improvements that maximize recovery value and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop regional operations personnel.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer service.
  • Manage employee performance, scheduling, and workforce planning.
  • Develop supervisors and future leaders within the organization.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and maintain a safety-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Support emergency preparedness and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive operations, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, construction supply, rental equipment, or related leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience managing inventory, operational workflows, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.

Work Environment
