The F&B Manager must have the ability to effectively manage food inventories, customize menus, train staff and drive productivity.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Work as a team player with other members of management to ensure continuity and teamwork is displayed, embraced and leveraged at all timesConduct regular inspections of units to observe the quality of food preparation and service, food, appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, productivity, equipment condition and employee appearanceCoordinate training activities inclusive of all food and beverage locations and roles for production and service employeesPrepare and input all cost and sale information the POS database to ensure operational reports and budget analyses are accurate and drive decisionsExecute scheduling staff working in conjunction with Operations Manager for all events and food and beverage activitiesOrder, coordinate, prepare and execute all set-up service for all Food & Beverage activities property wide and onlineDevelop strategies and identify opportunities to minimize food costs and maximize revenueManage and motivate the part-time team to increase sales and ensure efficiencyManage stock levels and making key decisions about stock control analyzing sales figures and forecast future salesResolve health and safety, legal and security issues and ensure all food and beverage locations are always prepared for health and safety inspectionsOrganize special promotions, displays, and menus to ensure maximum coverage and client satisfaction is achieved Support and enforce all processes, rules, programs and staff management practicesEnsure food and beverage is properly, professionally and creatively displayed for all events to include the food presentation, table presentation, and food qualityEnsure venue is operating within all food and beverage health codes, proper food preparation, cooking guidelines and sanitation requirementsControl and manage all aspects of the Food and Beverage inventory including executing weekly/monthly inventories, food ordering, invoicing, pricing and cost controlsAdhere to all cash handling policies to ensure the highest possible integrity of our cash flow is managed and achievedMaintain a level of personal and professional integrity as a representative of the community and represent the clientDemonstrate a fair and equitable business practice with all vendors and clientsAll other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Four years of experience in a similar positionAbility to operate all kitchen equipmentWorking knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and POS SystemsDemonstrated ability to teach cash handling, POS operation, food safety and handling guidelinesWillingness to engage in continuing education to meet all of the requirements of this positionInitiative, drive, and dedication Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skillsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong organizational skillsMust be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidaysPrior responsibility for P&L management and budget oversightWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, bend, carry, lift, pull, and pushWorkplace environment has intermittent noise, generally moderate in nature, but can be loud at times especially during competitions and events
