The Role

Plans, designs, manages, and authorizes the provision of engineering services, operations, and assets in the Division for small projects, including engineering planning, asset management, environmental assessments, master planning, waste water and water maintenance with established scope/guidelines or for components of larger projects, under supervision/direction of supervisor/senior staff.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Performs work under the general supervision of a Professional Engineer. Participates on project teams under the direction of supervisor/senior staff. Establishes project scope and requirements. Work is reviewed throughout project stages.
  • Conducts focused assessments and studies required for project planning and optimization projects under supervisor/senior staff direction/review.
  • Designs capital projects that are established in scope, under supervision/direction of senior staff.
  • Develops and manages components of schedules and budgets (up to multi-million), under supervision of supervisor/senior staff, and for approval from same.
