FIT4LESS REGION MANAGER

This position will be based in Alberta, preferably in the Calgary area. Clubs and regular travel outside of the based area is to be expected.

The Region Manager leads a team of managers and clubs to run financially healthy clubs focused on clean,friendly and automated experiences for both members and associates. The Region Manager is responsible tooversee club operations and ensures company expectations are met.

Job Summary:

Manages processes that ensures clean and safe clubs, friendly associates, and an automated brand. Ensures constant and consistent management and completion of process expectations and opportunities to reflect the clean, friendly and automated brand .:

  • Ensures execution of daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness and service responsibilities and holds accountability to the brand's expectations.
  • Follows expectation guidelines for completing expected/pop-in club visits with each Manager and supplies required documentation from visits.
  • Identifies and uses effective action plans to solve operational duties and processes that are not meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Leads and trains on customer service, handling member concerns and addressing escalated member complaints.
  • Escalates appropriately as per processes to ensure concerns and circumstances are addressed appropriately and timely.
  • Leads conference calls, one on one manager calls to support and communicate company policies, procedures and expectations.
  • Reports and manages alongside with Club Services and Fit4Less IT regarding ongoing equipment and facility maintenance reporting to provide a clean and safe facility.
  • Completes actions as assigned, and from supervisor and club visits.

Manages direct reports and the people requirements of the Department/Team using provided tools and resources to ensure the successful execution of all key responsibilities and tasks, retention of great talent, and high Associate engagement.:

  • Facilitates recruitment of direct reports to ensure adequate resourcing based on approved Department/Team budget.
  • Leads the onboarding, coaching, learning, development, and performance management of all direct reports to ensure a positive and safe working experience.

Manages and ensures the financial management of each club which includes achieving all revenue goals and controlling all expenses to achieve budgeted EBITDA.

Ensures the success of opening and reopening of all new, conversion, acquisition, or renovating club, and launched project that operate under Fit4Less to ensure a club is operationally 100% ready to go when (re)open/launched.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • 2 years success in a management role at Fit4Lessor equivalent management role in the fitnessindustry.
  • Proven success in leading, training andmotivating teams.
  • Success in exceeding individual and team salesgoals.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication.
  • Advanced Customer Service.
  • Basic proficiency in the use ofcomputers/technology (e.g., Microsoftoffice/apps, internet).
  • Ability to consistently keep informationconfidential.
  • Provides challenging tasks andassignments.
  • Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully.
  • Doesn't hold back anything that needs to be said andlets people know where they stand with respect.

Working Conditions:

  • Is tolerant with people and processes.
  • Travel time to clubs 4 times weekly.
  • Extended travel time to clubs, may include overnights, twice a month - monthly.
  • Club visits 4-7 clubs weekly.
  • Exposure to people who are impatient, angry, harassingor unpredictable, daily.
  • Exposure to conditions/cleaning that require the use ofprotective equipment 3-4 times weekly.

Compensation:

It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $65,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $65,000 - $87,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
