As a member of the region finance team supporting the Region Finance Directors and Managers, the Senior RFA prepares analyses across a broad spectrum of business and financial metrics to seek opportunities to drive financial results.

What you'll do:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Preparation of analyses in key business areas of fleet/utilization, revenue and rates management, cost and operational improvements.

    • Assist in reviewing financial statements and proposing adjustments during the month-end close process.

    • Assist RFD & RFM in preparing for and coordinating region, district and corporate Quarterly Business Reviews.

    • Ad Hoc analysis as needed

  • Budgeting and Forecasting

    • Conduct reporting and analysis for region and field staff in support of the budgeting and forecasting process.

    • Assist in monitoring budgets and reporting on variances.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Work directly with field leadership to highlight opportunities for improvement and work with them to capitalize on those opportunities.

    • Assist in evaluating underperforming branches and providing recommendations for corrective action.

    • Support region and district initiatives for profitable growth.

    • Assist with financial training for key region, district, and branch staff.

    • Assist RFD and RFM in identifying best practices to promote throughout the region.

  • Other duties

    • Acquisition support as required.

    • Participate in roll-out of region and corporate initiatives and special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Professional accounting designation and/or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.

  • Must possess strong PC skills (MS Word and Excel, including knowledge of advanced functions) and good oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong spreadsheet modeling and critical analysis skills.

  • SQL and Tableau skills are a plus

  • Travel expectation of 25%
