Maintenance Technician

Portland Regency Hotel & Spa โ€“ Portland, ME

Join the team at the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa, a beautifully restored Historic Hotel of America located in the heart of Portlandโ€™s Old Port District. Weโ€™re looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our landmark property and ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
On-Call: Rotating basis required
Pay: $22โ€“$27/hour (based on experience and skills)
Requirements: 2-3 years of maintenance technician experience, Valid driverโ€™s license required

Full-Time benefits include Medical, Dental, Life, and Short-Term Disability insurances, Holidays, and PTO. Part-time benefits include sick time. All employees receive: HHA Discounts, Fitness Center use, Uniform, Parking, and Employee Meal. 401(k) plan with a match after one year.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry.
  • Complete preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
  • Maintain hotel exterior areas and assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Ensure all tools and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Support additional maintenance needs as assigned.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of related experience or training preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
  • Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and safety standards.
