About the Organization

Regency Mental Healthcare Center, located in Buffalo, New York, specializes in delivering evidence-based mental health services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Our mission is to empower individuals grappling with a variety of mental health issues—ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and severe emotional distress. At Regency, we create a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages professional development while prioritizing the well-being of both our staff and clients.

Our remote work model supports a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to tailor your schedule to meet personal requirements while fulfilling professional obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, crafting personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and the latest therapeutic modalities.
  • Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addressing symptoms and fostering resilience through a client-centered approach.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic care that sees the client as a whole individual, not just a set of symptoms.
  • Participate in regular peer consultations and case review meetings to share insights, enhance care quality, and keep abreast of effective treatment approaches.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journeys.
  • Stay informed about current research and trends in mental health to continuously enhance the efficacy of your clinical practices and ensure clients receive the best possible care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of significant issues such as trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship difficulties. By employing a supportive and empathetic approach, you will guide clients through their mental health journeys, helping them to build resilience, self-awareness, and coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active and valid state license in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic methodologies such as solution-focused therapy, CBT, or DBT, customized to meet the individual needs of clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients to facilitate effective treatment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling the development of tailored interventions even in complex situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing telehealth services is highly valued, as it aligns with our remote work model and enhances service delivery.
  • Previous experience in crisis intervention or working with specific populations such as veterans, children, or individuals with severe mental illness is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can streamline your practice and improve documentation processes.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and wellness.
  • Life and disability insurance for added financial security.
  • Flexible scheduling options to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Continuing education allowances to support your professional development and growth.
