Job description

What is the job? 

Help lead the theatre and create exceptional guest experiences.

At Regal, we create more than movie experiences; we create moments that bring people together. As a Part Time Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving theatre performance, developing your team, and delivering exceptional guest experience.  

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily theatre operations, ensuring strong staff performance, smooth execution, and an exceptional guest experience
  • Performing all staff positions required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and all certification requirements (including alcohol service where applicable)
  • Train, coach, and supervise team members while supporting hiring, scheduling, and performance management with GM oversight
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction by resolving concerns quickly and professionally and supporting promotions and theatre presentation
  • Oversee financial and operational tasks including cash handling, reporting, inventory, cost control, and profitability support
  • Manage theatre operations and facilities, including maintenance, cleanliness, projection and audio-visual systems, and overall building standards
  • Marketing and promotions of feature film engagements; scheduling of movie show times and the timely delivery of show times to all proper channels.

        What We’re Looking For

        • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
        • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
        • Excellent communication and team development skills
        • Strong attention to detail and operational execution
        • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

        About you

        • At least 3 months of supervisory experience, OR
        • 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, OR
        • Equivalent experience or demonstrated leadership potential (subject to approval)
        • Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service if applicable
        • Must complete all required Regal training and certification programs
        • Working knowledge of theatre operations, including projection systems, preferred
