What youโ€™ll be doing โ€“ The Role

The Refurbish Technician is responsible for restoring office coffee and beverage equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all equipment meets company quality standards before being deployed to clients.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect, diagnose, and refurbish used coffee brewers, espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment.
  • Disassemble machines to clean, replace, or repair components including tubing, wiring, valves, solenoids, boilers, and circuit boards.
  • Test refurbished equipment to ensure full functionality and compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Prepare refurbished machines for deployment, including packaging, labeling, and updating inventory systems.
  • Coordinate with Hub Manager to confirm outgoing shipments and inventory updates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized refurbishing workspace.
  • Collaborate with the service team and provide feedback to improve refurbishing processes.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on coffee equipment following manufacturer and company guidelines.
  • Clean and descale internal components, including boilers, brewing chambers, and
  • Check and calibrate machine settings including temperature, pressure, and brew volume to maintain beverage consistency.
  • Test and verify operation of electrical components such as switches, sensors, and circuit
  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by First Choice management

Requirements:

What youโ€™ll bring โ€“ The Person:

  • Valid Driverโ€™s License for at least 2 years
  • Past driving experience preferred
  • Repeatedly lift and carry coffee and bottled water products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb in and out of delivery vehicle multiple times per day.
