Description
This position is responsible for refurbishing frac trailers and related components (including engines, pumps, transmissions, etc.) in a shop environment in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm. Our address is 3007 Maverick Dr. Kilgore, TX. 75662.
Mid-level position - Generally has more than three years of experience, but less than six years, and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A Level III Technician is familiar with a variety of the field's standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Level III Technician performs a variety of standard and technical tasks, works under general supervision, and is often a team member on a large project.
Essential Functions
โ€ข Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Frac equipment malfunctions and failures
โ€ข Must be able to complete parts orders and identify parts for return
โ€ข Maintains all equipment and work areas - keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
โ€ข Completes all documents associated with repairs promptly
โ€ข Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
โ€ข Performs inspections, preventive maintenance of equipment and trailers
โ€ข Removes and installs components on frac pumping units.
โ€ข Removes and installs hydraulic hoses and related components
โ€ข Assists in the startup and testing of frac pump units.
โ€ข Maintains a safe, clean, and organized frac pumping units and work area.
โ€ข Provides technical support to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner; moreover, ensures maximum value for work performed.
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • One to three years of industry experience preferred
  • Frac Trailer Repair experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
โ€ข Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
โ€ข Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
โ€ข Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders.
โ€ข Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment.
โ€ข Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.
Work Environment:
โ€ข Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.

โ€ข Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment.
โ€ข Significant time spent in confined spaces and high places.
