Quality Control Specialist - Quality Control Department

Job Summary

The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and resolving all draft, audit, and transaction challenges needed in the best interest of the client and business. This agent may also assist in account underwriting, verification, and approvals when needed. This individual will perform continual data entry processes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and must be detail oriented and demonstrate accuracy. The Quality Control Specialist will report to the Quality Control Manager.


Key Responsibilities
  • Update drafts per clients' requests.
  • Research client files to identify transactional issues with payments and performance fees.
  • Process requests from third parties related to clearing, pending, cancelling, and modifying creditor settlement payments.
  • Contact creditors if the account is sold to another collection agency and attempt to reestablish the previous agreement.
  • Process scheduled payments of negotiated settlements as well as audit for accuracy.
  • Send refund or referral of fees requests to the accounting department.
  • Other duties as required to support department operations.

  • High School Degree or GED (required).
  • 1-2 years' experience in a financial industry (collections, payment processing, mortgages, claims reconciliation) (preferred).
  • Must be detailed oriented.
