As KSW continues expanding into the mission critical and data center market, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help deliver complex mechanical construction projects safely, efficiently, and with exceptional client service.

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through project completion. This role oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, client communication, and project execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Project Manager works closely with field leadership, estimating, BIM/VDC, procurement, and executive leadership to drive successful project outcomes and build lasting relationships with customers and project partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, owner turnover, and project closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and execution plans.
  • Monitor project costs, productivity, cash flow, and financial performance to achieve profitability goals.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, equipment procurement, and material deliveries to support project schedules.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders while ensuring timely resolution of project issues.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize schedule and financial impacts.
  • Support procurement of long-lead equipment and critical project materials.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures.
  • Assist with project startup, commissioning, punch list completion, and final closeout documentation.
  • Foster strong customer relationships that generate repeat business opportunities.
  • Promote KSW's culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, or process mechanical construction projects.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, mission critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, procurement, change management, and project controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with clients and project teams.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Superintendents, Estimators, BIM/VDC, and field operations.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
