Job description

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Keep Our Operations Running, Safely and Smoothly
At Lineage, you'll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation - including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia, CO₂, and Freon refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems.
  • Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, CO₂, Freon).
  • Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
  • Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.
